| Presenters
Margaret Higa is HIDA’s Executive Director. She has been with HIDA since 1999 and its executive director since 2013. She is the mother of young adults with dyslexia. Margaret previously worked at Hawai’i Tokai International College and for the state of Hawai’i (Department of Human Services; Employment Training Center). Jennifer Leoiki-Drino is the mother of two children, one with learning differences. She is a Parent Advocate and Life Coach for families with learning differences, and the Private School Representative with SEAC (Special Education Advisory Council). Jennifer is a HIDA Board Member and its Public Awareness Committee Chair. |
